Super Princess Peach: Reviews

Game Score: 3/10

There you go with another platform game ! But this time, our good old plumber have been captured and it's Peach's time to show up her skill !
First thing to know, this game is adressed to a young public. REally, no difficulty at all and very repetitive. Not your regular "Super mario" at all....

Graphics : Oh hell, a lot of colours ! As I stated earlier, it's a game for childrens so, I guess it is evidence =) But, sad point, it look more like a GBA game than a full fledged DS game...

Music : Really annoying ! It's kinda repetitive and synthetic... But, childrens seems to like that kind of stuff... Repetitive things... And there we come to the gamplay...It's linked, you see !

Gameplay : It's look great when you start ! Peach have an umbrella who can bash ennemies, EAT ennemies ( oh yeah, kinda strange ^^ ) and even let Peach float a little while in the air. On the touch screen, you have four hearts who symbolize the differents emotions of Peach. Each emotions give a different power to Peach. You take your stylus, you hit one of the emotions/heart and Peach get affected by your choice. By example, if you hit the Sad heart, Peach will start crying and she can make plants grow ! But, be warned, by using emotions, you use parts of your EMOTION bar, which you can resplenish by finding item or... eating ennemies with your umbrella ( oh yeah, you're not crazy, I really said that the umbrella EAT the ennemies ) !
So, you move in the 2D world, bashing ennemies and finding coins and many other things hidden in the worlds. But, sadly, it really get repetitive after a few stage, when you start handling the different emotions.
The only utility of the Touch screen is to select the emotions... Not great Nintendo...tsss...tsss...

Replay : Don't even think about it ! You'll go crazy ! °_° There is some minigame but, nothing worth of particular attention, really !

In conclusion... Nintendo have lowered his standard and is wanting to catch youngers gamers ! "The Legend of Zelda, The Minish Cap", is a superb example... Seriously, Videogames seems to be taking the same way as Hollywood : Crappy arts whom his supported by numerous fans who don't know how better the older games were. I'm giving a two because I know it's still a lot of work, doing a videogame ( even if it is crap ).

Oh and, I gived a +1 bonus point because the umbrella EAT the baddies !
