Mawasunda is a fun little game, taking a lot of inspiration from WarioWare: Touched! In this particular game, the objective is to get through a set of stylus-related activities within a certain amount of time. For those of us who don't read Japanese, it's a little extra challenging, as you must figure out what the game wants you to do AND do it before time runs out. Instead of the five seconds of WarioWare, however, it's about one minute, and the challenges are slightly more complex. In one activity, you have to chase away a set of dragonflies, each one bigger than the last, with quick, clockwise circle motions. Entertaining, even if not incredibly challenging.
The main draw of this game comes with the multiplayer abilities. To be able to race against your friends in a madcap scribble-fest is ideal for anyone, and, though it's not wifi connected, it's still a lot of fun.
Graphics seem extremely low-tech, however. I realize the main emphasis should be on the gameplay, but it almost seems childish in the artwork. Plus, the novel concept can get repetative and boring quickly. It's great solo for about five minutes, but soon you'll want to be doing something else. Unless you have friends around, this game will be infrequently played, if at all, after it's first run.
