AT 3.94 DPs you'd expect a game to be complete rubbish. Instead this turned out to be one of my favourite DS games and probably tne one I have played most on my DS. The game can be played as a normal flight sim with RPG elements or as a total RPG experience. This
may seem strange for a flight sim but all the fighting and flying can be automated and left in the capable hands of the DS while you take care of the mission choices and necessary upgrading in order to survive the next encounter. The deeper you go into the game the more it
opens up and the more interesting it gets. The sensation of height and speed is excellent and you can participate in the automated dogfights by controlling altitude, speed and the use of extra armaments such as bombs and missiles. You travel from location to location
liberating runways from airpirates, which you can then use to land upon and buy better upgrades. This game will keep you going for quite a
long time as apart from upgrading you can buy several planes until you are king of the skies. I hope this game becomes a series as it is a really brilliant concept. Try it out if you have even a passing interest in flight sims and RPGs.
