garfield 2 in this game is based on the movie "Garfield: The tale of two kitties" where you start the game being invited by your look alike very rich Cat. you'll be playing garfield in 3D graphics and its a 2D platformer style game. garfields movements and animations is well done, he jumps like how a real cat jumps and you'll feel the speed when he runs, and thats all you'll see in him around the game. touch screen is also used for looking around and the DS mic is also used, but its just not that focused. Bugs exists in the game, but not that critical when your at it. I just found some bugs when garfield sticks to walls. The stages is more like an obstacle course in which you have to jump and climb cross streets etc. to reach to the end of the stage. frame speed varies in some stages, and that Garfield 2 encounters slow downs but not too slow, sometimes you wont notice it.

The annoying thing about this game is the loading times, theres too much loading in the game, I dont know why? its supposed to be a cartridge game. if you're up to platform games like "New Super Mario Brothers" and want something new, this is not it. the design of the game can easily be converted to a GBA game in 2D. One thing I like about the game is that its old school style Cat games that we found on DOS PC's and NES games. The feel of the game sticks to the cat category games in platform. if you've played some of those, this game gives you some familiar things to remember about you being an Old school gamer. If you like Garfield a lot "I know there are people who likes anything about Garfield thats how Garfield survives right now" then you have try this out, its not that hard compared to other Garfield games found on GBA, its a fun game for starters and for Fans, specially to those females who are so addicted to Garfield.

user rating for me would be. (6.5) for Garfield Fans this would maybe a (8.5) For Hardcore Gamers of all genre this would maybe be a (5.5)
