Some of you guys all say that LEGO Star Wars II is unplayable for the DS from all the glitches, but i strongly disagree. This game has surprised me with the fact that it has an outstanding 3D graphics engine with a solid frame rate of 30 fps, and who cares about the glitches? They don't mess up the gameplay, and they're pretty minor for the most part. The only thing that bugs me is that when you're surrounded by enemies, the game gets pretty sluggish, but it's not that big of a deal.
LEGO Star Wars II has great sound quality with a full original soundtrack from the classic Star Wars films. Fully customizable characters are available, but you only can customize your characters with the characters you have already unlocked. Putting mini legs on your character will make him jump around like Yoda and do a series of flips when you have your lightsaber out.
The game doesn't take much part in the touch screen controls, except for customizing characters, moving the camera (the game has an auto camera that follows you in the game, but if you need to look around, you'll want to use the manual camera), putting accessories on your character while in the game, or in free play, changing your character. But, the button controls are pretty simple and you don't need to go all over the place trying to take out your weapon.
Now, here's a detailed description of the glitches in the game. Most are pretty minor, but some are annoying, but won't ever mess up what your doing in the game.
1. Sometimes you'll see through the ground or through walls while moving throughout the levels, but it's not a big problem.
2. The auto camera follows you in a different direction every time you play a level, so sometimes it sticks and stops following you until you reach a new area, in which the new area will scroll over the past area. Anyway, in this case when the camera sticks, you can't see much because the camera is so zoomed out.
That's pretty much all the glitches I've experienced so far and I'm on the second to last level.
Overall LEGO Star Wars II for the DS is a great game and has amazing graphics, almost console-like actually, and a great original Star Wars soundtrack, and to top it off, the gameplay is great and the game isn't too hard, it's just right. I haven't tried out the multiplayer yet, but what you do is you play a capture-the-flag game in a way, but instead of capturing a flag, you capture a Han Solo in Carbonite. Well, I recommend that you get this game because it's great!!!
