Ever wanted to try the old Bubble Bobble but didn't have an Amiga? Well now you can play the old skool Bubble bobble and a new version on your DS! In bubble bobble you play as a little green dinosaur and try to shoot bubbles to capture enemies. You then pop the bubbles to destroy them. Though it sounds simple it is actually quite fun as you try to beat your family and friends' high scores. Retro Bubble bobble is a simple platform game with simple graphics, There are 100 levels you can try to beat and luckily you don't have to start from level one each time. The levels get gradually harder, which makes it good for general, or hardcore gamers.

Graphics: Cute old pixel graphics which go well with the type of game, considering the oldness of this game, I would give the graphics 10/10

Sounds: Retro Bubble Bobble has its own original song, which so easily gets stuck in your head, the other sounds are basic, which is expected so I'll give the sound 9/10

Gameplay: The gameplay is good, the controls are easy and the levels easy to navigate. Nice and simple, 10/10

Lastibility: Retro Bubble Bobble has great lastibility, The later levels get quite hard and you have to get good at the game to beat them, when you do though its excellent, with 100 levels this game has great lastibility, 10/10

Overall: Overall I would give Retro Bubble Bobble 9.5/10 Considering it's age, it has pretty good graphics and sound, and the lastibility is awesome.

New Age Bubble Bobble
The new bubble bobble, well, isn't very good. It couldn't hold my attention for very long as the levels were confusing and hard to navigate.

Graphics: To put it nicely, the graphics suck. The old bubble bobble was cute, but they tried to re-do him, and failed. Bubblun looks evil and fat, while bobblun looks either depressed or drugged. Your enemies aren't looking too good either, they look depressed as well. Graphics: 2/10

Sound: The sound, well this is pretty bad too, they tried to do a remix of the old bubble bobble song, did not come out good. The other sounds in the game are pretty much the same as the old game as well, and don't really fit, 2/10

Gameplay: The buttons are luckily the same easy to use controls, but the actual game screen is very hard to navigate, it has scrolling screens and you can be in the top or bottom screen which can get very confusing. Everything moves too fast and it gets too hard too quickly, 2/10

Lastibility: Well, this game has quite a few levels, if you could be bothered to play them, I pretty much gave up because everything else was so bad but lastibility I guess was good, 6/10

Overall: The remake of bubble bobble is pretty lame, hard to navigate, bad sounds and bad graphics. I overall give this part of Bubble Bobble Revolution 2/10.

Final Notes: I think this game is quite worth downloading, even if its just for the retro bubble bobble, that game is so awesome it doesn't matter that the 'revolution' sucks, and so I give this rom, 8/10
