Game Score: 9/10

Elite Beat Agents- how should I explain this game, well if you took Dance Dance Revolution added the DS Touch Screen and threw in 3 agents who decide to help everyone by dancing then Ta-DA! This is the outcome, this is the second game by INIS that follows this type of gameplay and many fans of the first game (Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan) will find this a great add to their collection along with the newcomers who have no idea what's in store.

Story - Well the main objective of the game is to help various people with their problems by doing none other than dancing, you accomplish this by keeping your agents tuned to the beat as you tap along with the stylus. The game offers 19 different levels all of which have their own little story presented in a comic/manga form for the players enjoyment such as helping a Teenage girl with a boyfriend and helping a cat keep a baby out of imminent doom.

Graphics - There isn't much to say here, most of the game is in a 2D manga/comic style because of the stories and you tap on 2D circles as well, the stories are drawn out very well and the only thing that's 3D in the game are the agents on the bottom of the screen which I didn't pay attention to that much because the game took most of my concentration.

Gameplay - The point of the game, as stated before, is to tap your stylus along with the beat of the music. Along with tapping you may have to follow a ball with your stylus like holding a note and finally the spinners. Spinners are just what they sound like... you see a colorful circle and then with your stylus held down you must spin as quick as you get to get the meter in the background to full before time runs out. To know when to actually tap these circles and other things when a circle is displayed there will also be another thin circle surrounding it, as it gets smaller and closes it on the target you tap it when the circle is right on top or before the circle. This may seem confusing for first time player for a short while but you get into the groove very quickly.

Sound - The whole game is based around sound to this game has top marks from me, as stated before there are 19 songs in the game (3 of which you need to unlock) and they range from Ballads to Oldies and new age Rock and Pop songs. There's not much more sounds besides sound effects when choosing in menus but you're not going to be spending your time reading the menus so it's not a problem.

Replayability - This game has 4 difficulity modes (from lowest to highest difficulty) Breezin', Crusin', Sweatin' and Hard ROCK! You get the two lowest ones at the beginning but the other two are only gotten after clearing the stories of the hardest available difficulty. (Ex: Finishing Crusin' will unlock Sweatin') but needless to say wanting to finish all the modes was a good enough motivation for me to keep on playing.

Difficulty - The easiest mode is just what you would think EASY, but after that it has a very steep difficulty curve. Soon you'll have to be pounding away perfect timed hits just to survive the next stage of the song. Fear not though, the game has a Review option after you lose to see how exactly you lost in your final moments which can help you very much to get the needed rhythms.

Overall - This game is one of the jewels of the DS it should be in your library so you can enjoy this game over and over again. My only gripe about the game is the steep difficulty curve in the later levels but don't let that drive you away from this wonderful game.
