I was excited about getting this game, then I was rather disappointed.
You're a vet, you work at an animal clinic, while you still have to tend to your Sims needs, it's just not the same.
In my opinion the most fun part of the game is creating your Sim, and after creating your Sim, creating your own pet.
Creating your pet is fun, because you can change the body size, head size, tail, whether its a mixed breed, if it looks like its mother or its father more, etc

When game play first starts, its interesting enough, you diagnose the pets, decide whether to admit them or send them to a specialist, treat them.
Pets can get things like fleas, small diseases, and maybe they just need a bath, but then they can also have something more serious.

You can play the pets, train them, bathe them, etc
There's also an nice computer shopping system.
You can also sew new patterns for clothes that the pets can wear.
Paris Hilton may even pay a visit.

But after a while this can get rather old and boring, treating pets with the same illnesses, not being able to treat pets with interesting illnesses, not enough celebrities, so I don't play the game very often any more, maybe once or twice every few months.

Pros and Cons, Good and Bad :

+ Creating Sims and Pets is a fun experience.
+ Playing with and training pets is awesome!
+ Nice treat when celebrities come in.
+ Graphics and Sound are pretty good.

- Can get very boring game play after a while.
- What are you supposed to teach your pet when it knows everything? This is a downside seeing as training is great.
- Not such a nice treat when an unsatisfied celebrity leaves.
- Somehow I accidentally got rid of my own pet o.o;

If you are a big Sims fan, give this game a try, but I don't think many non-Sims fans would enjoy it at all.
