one word sums up this game... fantastic! If you were a fan of the original yoshis island then this is one hell of an upgrade from yoshi's story. All the game dynamics are still there, the red coins, the flowers, the star counting system but a heapload of special addons have been made making the game better then ever. To start off the graphics have definately improved. Mode seven graphics have been blown clear across the pond on this one. honkin' baddies, wierd enemys and the return of my favorite nintendo thing ever FUZZIES! you touch them and you get dizzier then ever! Proof of possible drug influences in nintendo?? maybe.

Reguardless this is a strongly beefed up version of yoshis island like i never could have possibly expected! it is a mpre then worthy sequal to the legendary SNES game. PICK THIS UP!!!

picture perfect faithful remake of the yoshis island style with enough pretty pictures to make an acid user crap his pants! also the levels extending into the top screen is pure genius. making for a unique sidescroller experience.

Sound: 10!!!
The surround sound on the DS makes the sound an beautifully integral part is what makes this game really great

Gameplay: 10!!!
The controls are just like playing snes but with touch screen toys and the lot of things you will never get bored here

Difficulty: 7.5
Not very hard compared to other games. But it's about on par with the difficulty of the original yoshis island. i havent pushed to the end yet but thusfar the difficulty is onot too bad. just about anyone can pick it up and huck some eggs. good fun for all!
