Yu-gi-oh DX spirit summoner , is the same layout and gameplay as nightmare troubadour before it , a 2-d gameboard on the bottom screen with a 3-d view of the action on the top.

For a japanese game i was pleasently suprised that the language is 99% english with details of each card and storyline being in a understandable form for european gamers.

The game itself follows the 1st series of yu-gi-oh DX , starting from yourself entering duel acadamy for the first time.

A feature of the game is that you make your own character , name hairstyle and facial features can be changed when making a new character.

The sound is good for the nintendo ds , also the music changes when you are dueling an opponent depending on how good or bad you are playing in that particular duel.

Graphics are excellent all characters look and act just like they would on yu-gi-oh DX episodes probably one of the most outstanding features of this game.

Also the game is Wi-Fi compatable so you can duel with other people around the world to test your skills.

The best things about the game itself it that graphics and the storyline are great , also there are many card packs to buy in the store all card packs are the real life names like "legend of the blue eyes white dragon" pack to name one of many.

A downside to the game is that it can get repetitive quite quickly if you dont experiment with different cards and deck constructions.

Overall i think its a good game that anyone can play , if your a yu-gi-oh fan you will love it .
