Dead n' furious is the EURO version of the game Touch the dead. Touch the dead--What a title ! In addition to that It's rated "M". Man, did you really think that the nintendo DS was a childish console ?
With the recent avalanche of pokémon, zelda, and digimon I allow you to feel so.But now !You know what ?
Now it's the time to kill zombies. And for once ,this game is original, it ain't no remake like Resident evil Deadly silence...

Story--
You are a prisoner. And you find your celldoor open one night. You also find a gun on the floor... Making your way to the freedom, some zombies attack you.
And that's not a little amount of zombies. Dozens! Hundreds!Thousands ?!!...
We can consider that like a future Zombie-based Romero movie, but we don't have the time to deal with an organisation called UMBRELLA.
Although it's not sufficiently original , that's enough to make a game.

Gameplay--
If some of you have played to the House of the dead series, Dead n' furious is pretty much the same. Automatically driven character while the zombie shooting is all up to you. It ain't no FPS, you just touch the zombies and reload.
By the way, you reload your ammo (which is unlimited for the gun) by sliding the little ammo icon on the bottom right of the screen to you ammo counter which is on the bottom left. No need to explain that this configuration changes when you are left handed. It works well and is simple.

Graphics--
Ok, here you are. It's ugly. I mean it. The zombies that attack you aren't very detailed nor they are different (I have been attacked by 4 types of zombies); Your character's face during the cut scene is really bad designed, compared to what the DS has proven in terms of its 3D Rendering capacity. What's more the background and environment is a little repetitive (in a same chapter, otherwise it's relatively ecclectic) and not so coloured. But it's ok.

Sound--
Sobre. It does a great addition to the atmosphere of the game. You'll even hear screams sometimes. I highly recommend you to play this game with headphones.

Replayability--
Of course this game is replayable. The house of the dead gameplay made it really replayable. You can even add the fact that it's fun to kill zombies. It can evacuate your stress.

Overall
Ok, maybe you won't be as enthusiastic as I am towards this game. At some moments the graphics look like they've been "crapped from the d*** of a dying moose" (AVGN-style).
But I do think that we'd better not boycott a game that is a near perfect combo of Gore , Fear & Fun.
If there's one proverb that i could make up about this game:
"Do not judge the zombie by its face. Judge it by its teeth".
I am not sure of what it means but i tought it was cool.
