Wario - Master of Disguise (from here on out refered to as WMD) is a good game, that is, if you enjoy long and boring cut scenes, dodgy controls, and (far) too easy gameplay. Personally, I don't.
After popping this game into my DS, the first thing that I noticed (once I had started the game) was that it was a "wordy" game. The first few minutes of WMD are littered with pointless, lame dialogues between Wario and the antagonist (bad guy) "Count Cannoli." The text moves too slowly, and the jokes are juvenile at best. But that's not the worst of it; as you collect Wario's various disguises, you are forced to partake in dreadful tutorials on how to use the new disguise (as each one has special capabilities). There's no fast-tracking through these sections of the game, I grew weary of them very quickly.
Now for the "good" stuff: For those who haven't played the game, in order to change disguises, you must draw (using the stylus) a certain shape/design/etc. You must draw it accurately, and when I say accurately, I mean it! One little mistake and it doesn't work. You also have to draw the shape in an exact location near Wario, and only once you have stopped moving. Yah, that's right, no changing on the fly, you must be completely stationary in order to switch disguises. Another issue with the disguises is that they are too fussy to switch between when you are time-restricted or you are trying to solve a puzzle. The puzzles especially get incredibly annoying.
Other than the fussy controls, the game runs rather smoothly...a little too smoothly. A seven year old could beat this in no time, with no trouble whatsoever. It sure didn't take me too long to finish, that's for sure!

I'll break it down for you:

Graphics: Can't complain...it's your run-of-the-mill 2-D sides scroller. There are some nice effects here and there, but nothing special.

Sound: Again, it's nothing special, but not horrible. Although, I did find that it got a little annoying after a while.

Gameplay: Too easy, fussy controls, boring dialogue...BAD!

Thus, i give it a 5 out of 10, for that's all it is; Average.
