Lunar Knights: Reviews

Game Score: 9/10
About the game:
This is a Boktai spin-off made by Capcom and they made it so they could bring Boktai to the top in the US, because although it sold very well in Japan it just didn't hit the tops of the US.
The game's story:
No more Django, no more Sabata... Lunar Knights is a new begining of the Boktai series in the US. Two similar boys to the originals are born in this game: Lucian (Sabata) and Aaron (Django), each one with they're own weapons; Swords for Lucian and Guns for Aaron.
They both want to destroy all the vampires in the world, each with they're own reasons.
Gameplay:
The gameplay is very similar to the original Boktai games, and many things came back from those games.
Just like in Boktai 3 (Never released outside of Japan) both characters have now the power to combine with they're own Terrenial (Just like 'spirits' with they're own elemental attacks) and transform into a mighty vampire like creature (Lucian) or a mighty Sol warrior (Aaron), just like the Sol Django.
Just like Boktai 2, now you have a wide range of weapons to use. 3 Arms for Lucian and 5 Guns for Django, each one with it's own range and attack.
The Level system is also back.
You can now whistle instead of knocking on a wall to catch a enemy's attention and much more.
The major change in Lunar Knight is really the way you destroy the vampire's soul. Instead of calling upon some machine to burn the vampire down in the Earth, you'll take it over... To the space! Once you're in there, you'll have to play a little mini-game so you can reach the place where you'll kill the vampire once and for all.
If you ever played any game of the Boktai series, you'll probably be used to the game system, and if you never played them, you can also enjoy the system because it is really easy to learn.
Review Itself:
I really like the Lunar Knights. I'm a fan of the Boktai series but even if I wasn't, I would still like this game.
It's a great game and I recommend it. Play it!
Game Hardware:
Although it may seem a little awkward to add this section, I just wanted to say that the game lost it's solar system. Well, kinda...
The solar system is now based on the events on the game, no more solar sensor for you!
Negative Aspects:
I really liked the solar sensor thing, so I was kinda sad about it. But I didn't saw anything else really bad in the game. But it can be a little annoying thanks to the great level of difficulty. It's really hard to get over some places in the game.
Last Words:
Try it, and if you like it, be sure to buy the game. That way you'll help more Boktai Series games to be released in the US!
