I bought this game hoping for an experience akin to what I was already getting on the wii, only portable. The screenshots made it look like masterpiece in the graphics section on the DS. That is not the case.

Graphics: My complaint, everything is pre-rendered. That doesn't work so well, the camera angles are horrible, its in general an ugly, dull game. When characters talk to creepy looking version of them open and close their mouths like puppets, almost never even blinking. Everywhere is empty, there are no students in hogwarts, that really ruins the cozy home like feeling. It feels cold and lifeless.

Audio: The music is actually not to bad, and it has all the familiar themes in it. Not a huge problem here.

Gameplay: The spell casting saves this. Walking around is pure torture because the camera angles often cause you to re-enter the room you just left. Spellcasting is pretty easy, and yet challenging enough not to be boring. I had some fun with it.

Replayability: Not that I would ever play this again, but I have to say. Not much, once you've beaten the game, there isn't alot to do. Or alot that you will want to do at least.

overall this game gets a score of four. I do not recommend it, save your download points for something better...like...transformers DS (that sucks to, but its better then harry potter.)
