Glory Days 2

General: This is a remake of the old computer game "armor alley", with more troops (tanks, anti-helicopter missile launchers, soldiers, ambulance, ammo-reload trucks, super-tank), and the ability to choose wether to fly a plane or a helicopter.
Also, the single player campaign takes you through different periods of time, with troops evolving along the way.

If you enjoyed "Armor Alley" then this game will be great for you. It provides a campaign of 16 battles where you progressively learn the necessary skills, a battle mode to perform single battles (with very detailed settings of difficulty and rules), and a multiplayer mode to play with nearby people.

Gameplay: 10/10
Good coherent controls, which allow you to control plane/helicopter as well as create troops, tanks, etc.. A bit hard to remember how to activate special weapons at first, but quite intuitive all in all.
Battles are quite addictive, I find myself playing hours until I succeed a mission.

Graphics: 8/10
Nice 2d graphics for troops and scenery. Nothing astonishing though.
A nice effect is the blur effect which happens when you fly very fast with the plane.

Sound: 8/10. Good. The music is ok, it is not intrusive.

Bad Points: It would have been nice to be able to play multiplier over the net.

All in All: very good game.
