If any of you remember the first Worms Warfare on the DS. Like me you would of thought twice about trying Worms Warfare 2. The first game had me so disappointed its now retired to the back of my closet(probably never again to see the light of day).
Now with Worms Warfare 2 you would have thought they would have improved.....And they did.
Pretty much the whole game has been revamped for the DS. Including a mass of multiplayer modes and not to mention online play. Yes I said online play. I have become addicted and obsessed with the game.
The single player gameplay has improved aswell. You can play all new campaigns which take you through a dozen battle zones. Progressively from pirates to future battle landscapes. And the cut scenes between are quite fun to watch also.
There are other singleplayer gameplay modes like the laboratory, puzzle and training. All of which have good amount of levels to get through.
And in completing levels in singleplayer modes you are awarded points to spend in the shop. Everything from player sounds(I suggest getting "Soul Man") to Landscapes and new weapons.
And if your just up for some raw Worms gameplay there are also "Quick game" and "Custom Game" options on the main menu.
All and all Worms Warfare 2 is a great game, it has the potential to become an instant favorite and can be easily added to the list of top games on the DS.
