Animal Crossing: Wild World (AC:WW) is an exciting game where you can do anything from decorating your house with items to going over to other people's towns over Wi-Fi to trade and have even more fun.
This game goes by the DS's internal clock, so if it is January in your game at 11:00 pm, your village will be snow-covered and it will be nighttime too.
The town is like its own little planet. The top screen shows the sky, and in the sky numerous things can happen, such as shooting stars, UFOs, "present balloons", etc. You can also see stars and constellations at night from the top screen. The touch screen shows you and the land around you. You do most of the action in this screen, but you don't have to use the touch part of the touch screen to play the game.
In this game, you are either a boy or a girl that is moved away from your parent's house to a new town that you name. Your town is randomly generated, but it will always have these things:
1. A house that you can decorate and upgrade as you pay off it's debt.
2. A beach at the bottom of each town where sea shells, bottles, and salt-water fish that you can catch are.
3. A waterfall with a river going down your town to the sea. You can catch numerous fresh-water fish here.
4. Land and up to 8 other animals in your village that come and move out too. Bugs appear on land that you can also catch.
5. A shop for items and a shop for clothes.
6. A museum where you can donate fish, fossils, art, and bugs. You can also create your own constellations that are seen in your town's sky and you can get a cup of coffee for only 200 bells ("Bells" is the game's form of money.).
7. A town hall, where you can do things such as pay your house's debt, save letters you recieve, store money, donate money, check your environment, and more.
8. A town gate that is the gateway between your town, and the rest of the Wi-Fi world.
The game has no ending, unless you count paying off your debt the end of the game. I've had this game for 2 years and it still hasn't gotten old! There is an endless amount of things to do in this game.
The graphics of this game aren't the best, but they aren't really needed. You character isn't supposed to look real. It is 3D, just like the original Animal Crossing game, except in Wild World, it isn't sectioned into sixteen different "acres" - the game moves with you, and you can see the curve of the earth as you move. Someone might look at these graphics and think it does look kiddish, but it is still a great game.
Overall, I think this game is well worth it to get. In fact, I've only scratched the surface of the game. The are so much more exciting thing to do in this game that I haven't mentioned (It would take a very, very long time to go through an endless amount of subjects), and you should try searching the web to find out more about Animal Crossing: Wild World.
