after the massive hit in the ps3 and xbox 360, the assassins creed franchise arrives in the ds. Released on 5th february 2008 it is a prequel to the assassins creed : bloodlines.3 original cities such as Jerusalem ,Acre and Damascus are featured in this game. but unlike the assassins creed the game is not seen through the eyes of Desmond the bartender but Al Tair himself. the game is set somewhere around 11th to 12th century when the holy lands of jerusalem were pushed to the limits because of the bloody war between the saracens and the crucaders. al tair is an assassins who is enlisted with a mission to retrieve the Chalice from the organization of knights Templars.the game offers a great mixture between stealth and combat , resembling the prince of persia somewhat. weapons range from the famous retractable blade to bombs and projectiles . touchscreen options allow mini games like pick pocketing and so on.
