Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney

Considered as Gyakuten Siaban 4 it is a great addition to the Phoenix Wright series.

Story 9/10
As always the story is great. This time you are Rookie Attorney Apollo Justice and defend your clients who are all accused murder. The story is one of the essential part of this game. Nothing is like it seems in this game. It's like reading a criminal roman. So I can't tell much about the story, yet, since it would take away the fun of reading. Phoenix makes his return to this game, too. He now has a 15 year old daughter, who is called Trucy. They both help Apollo throughout the whole game.

Graphics: 10/10
I liked the anime Graphics of Phoenix Wright anyways but Apollo Justice is another level. There are now real film sequences in the game and the evidence are very detailed so you can find out something strange about them. For a point and click adventure this game has superior graphics. Expressions of chracters are very well drawn and sometimes funny. (Though I miss sweating Phoenix)

Gameplay: 10/10
Just like in the Phoenix Wright games there are two parts: One where you have to move around ask people what happened and find evidence and a court part where you have to defend the defendant by crossexamining witnesses and prove your theories with evidence or disproof the theories of the prosecution.
The gameplay hasn't changed much so I will only explain things that are new to this game: You can examine evidences now in a 3D perspectice. That means you can turn it around zoom in and out and find strange things about it and draw your conclusions of what you found out. It's just like the 5th case of PW:AA.
Another new thing is Apollo's sharp eye. Apollo has the ability to see through some actions of witnesses they do at certain times. For example he thinks it's strange that someone is always holding the back of his head when he is always talking about what happened. You will have to use this ability to find holes in the witnesses testimonies if your evidences aren't enough.

Sound 9/10
What can I say? The sound is perfect as always. I liked PW music better though.
But still the sound is always fitting to the situation and this game wouldn't be half as fun without sound.

All in all 10/10
This game is nothing for action seeking freaks. You have to use your brain and will love the story and laugh many times. Hte humour of this game is great.
To those who avoided AJ because you are not Phoenix anymore:
Phoenix still is in this game. He will be more like your mentor and gives you hints there and then. You will get to hear Phoenix yelling "Objection", too.
I really recomend this game.
