As an avid gamer that loves "dating type" of simulators as well as one that loves the classic shoujo type of stories, this one makes a perfect fit for all those who share the same interest.
The general story background is about a girl who is bored of her everyday life is suddenly approached by her "other self" from another world and is asked by her counterpart to do her a huge favor, which is to find a partner in her world and compete in her countries big dance competition. And so, she agrees and thus starts the game.
It get's straight to the point and not to mention, introduces almost all the guys off the bat that are available to be bachelors. If you're looking for a deep storyline, this would be the last game that you can take seriously. However, if you're looking to flirt and date/dance with any guy and enjoy it, it'll definitely suit your taste. Further, the relationship between the bachelors and the main character aren't anything amazing. It's the classic: Boy that is popular, your best friend type, the childish one, the quiet one, the flirtatious one, etc.
Overall gameplay is barely a challenge. If you are well experienced in games such as Elite Beat Agents/Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan or any related rhythm game for that matter, this is a piece of cake. The only thing that will irritate you about it is missing ONE note or getting a "good" beat instead of a "perfect". It's THAT simple.
The music that is played during dancing are classic songs you've heard before from classical one's to recognizable swing and dance/samba pieces. Most of them are just basic remixes, whether taken fast or slow from the original, but it's nothing "amazing" or worth downloading into your MP3. If you will, they're like "upgraded" midi versions.
The only real gripes I had with this game were having to go through some tutorials or basic songs from the start and sometimes not able to chose the song to dance to. Also, the "interlude" at the midpoint of slower songs were so long, I can go to the bathroom to do my thing, come back and it'd ALMOST be done with it.
Otherwise, the game is good for any age to play and is one of the few english dating games released on the US that I enjoy because of it's simplicity and fantasy-like characters with Princess's, Princess with the dating aspect. The replay value is moderate due to wanting to marry at least some of the different Princes that are offered in the game. I'd highly recommend this game for all Shoujo/Girly game and Dating game lovers.
