Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky: Reviews

Game Score: 7/10
A few people who have seen witness to my very few reviews here, have probably already realized that I've already reviewed Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time. Explorers of Sky, here, is pretty much the same game, except there's some additional extras added into it. But is it worth checking out? ... That's what I'm here to review.
- Story -
Alongside the main story, there are additional side-stories, which gives you a little time to see what other Pokemon are doing at around the time you're doing the main story. There are a few stories that I won't spoil, but I will say that one of which involves the Bidoof that's in the guild, and how he generally overcomes his weakness when he eventually befriends a Snover. I won't say no more about it, but I will say that even this small story got me going by the end! I really did get into it!
The extras are actually not as bad as many might think. Yes, it detracts from the actual main storyline, since you're not actually playing as the main characters, but getting to know the Pokemon that's involved is pretty awesome.
- Gameplay -
The only change that's been made to the gameplay, is that there's now a Spinda Cafe, which alongside Recycling items, you can make drinks using items such as gummis, drink them up, and you'll get a boost depending on what item you used to mix the drink with. Mixing with gummis, as mentioned, is generally better than eating the Gummis as they are. So it does make a welcome addition.
Otherwise, everything from exploration to battling hasn't been changed at all.
- Sounds -
Aside from a couple of new tracks, there is no real difference between this game and Time/Darkness at all. Everything sounds precisely as they did then, as they do now.
- Replayability -
The new side-stories are replayable once you complete them, so that is something else to add onto the replayableness of this game. Other than that, Replayability is the same as previously: It's good, but you may get bored and eventually only play it every once in a while...
- Yay or Nay -
This all really boils down to whether you want to see the side-stories or not I think. That alongside the fact of whether you actually enjoyed any of the Mystery Dungeon games to date. I'll say this: If you're thinking about getting Explorers of Time/Darkness... Stop, and consider Explorers of Sky instead. If you want those side-stories, then this game's also for you. If you couldn't care either way, or are happy with Time/Darkness, this game probably won't interest you.
As for scoring. Do not forget that 'Average' I consider to be 5. That is taken into account when giving my scoring!
Story - 8
Gameplay - 8
Sounds - 5
Replayability - 8
Total - 7.25
Whether you get the game and play it or not is not up to me, people. I've only reviewed the game to what I think it deserves. Nothing more!
And with that, this review is finished. Keep recruiting them all!
