Game Score: 10/10
Uncle Scrooge has heard of several treasures hidden around the world, and must travel to several locations in order to find them. Each level features a boss, who guards the treasure, so get your greedy old grumpy duck suit and get quacking.
Gameplay 10/10
You can chose what order you'd like to play the levels, and there are three difficulties that you may chose from, the easiest being easy enough for a four year old to play ( I can vouch for that, since I had this game at that age) while the hardest is still a little challenging even for those who are very experienced gamers. There are three endings to the game; the poor ending, the normal ending and the rich ending. To get the rich ending you must find two extra lost treasures (hidden on two different levels) and get at least $10,000,000. In order to get the poor ending, which is the most challenging to get, you must finish the game with t $0. Very few have ever gotten the poor ending without the use of cheats. Every level is unique, and has its own obstacles, like how you must grab onto an aeroplane in the Amazon, and how the snow in the Himalayas makes our greedy hero get stuck in the snow for a little when using his cane as a pogo stick.
Music 10/10
The music is simply epic. I still sometimes dust off my old NES console just to Have the moon music on in the background. The sound is somewhat hindered by the console, but it's still among the best gaming music in the world.
Controls 10/10
Scrooge follows your every command without delay. The easy controls make this game ideal for everyone to play. Simply use the D-pad to move, the A-button to jump, the B-button while being next to objects like tree stumps and stones to hit them with your cane (in the case of stones and similar objects, causing them to fling at enemies) and D-down plus B to use your cane like a pogo stick. Jumping on an enemy with the cane allows you to defeat them. Also the cane allows you to jump on (most) spikes without hurting yourself.
Graphics 10/10
It may sound odd to give a NES game a 10 in graphics, but remember that I only compare to the NES and what's possible to do with it. I have never seen such good graphics on the NES, and I have played many games. The sprites are well executed, and there are no real graphical glitches. You can always see what you are doing.
Replay value 9/10
It's so good that I can still play it although I've played it many times since I was a kid. It doesn't take long to make it through all the levels, but when you do, you just feel that you have to do it again.
All in all:
This game is an awesome one indeed, in my opinion, everyone should have it.
